Seeing how the real kiss had me moving to the union break room for a muffin and a yawn after the blood spitting routine on the farewell tour i was going with the hopes i may be inspired to look past the fact that my family name stops with me because of a remark Gene Simmons had made in circus magazine in 1976 and then going back on his word about never being a parent-(something I have maintained by surgery and denial)there's something definitely wrong about a "real parent corrupting the youth of our time- but not the case with me- LET'S PARTY KIDS!!)- and now back to the show...Driven a new Band opened the show and wil be appearing =wtih War Pigs and or BRITISH STEEL soon- warmed up the packed house at the tabor, next up was LAST EMPIRE featuring the incredibly talented BRIAN ALLEN on vocals- was screaming with a vengeance he is the only singer i truly respect in this town(next to me of course and since we are both british steelers- he's often next to me)also i n the group is pat de martini from the infamous VILLAGE IDIOT a longtime sweaty nipples associated standby. they posses a progressive neo clasical riff based proponent that lends itself to three and four part songs one of which i will be cutting a video featuring clips from the film legend..

Headliners SHOUT IT OUT LOUD took the stage and promptly dove into the song they are named after and the race was on..ive seen a lot of costunes made alot of costumes and props but ROB RONDINELLI rerally out out does everybody... a tribute to the hottest band in the world is an immense undertaking in itself without the costuming**BIG FUCKIN WOW FACTOR!!!THEY LOOKED AWESOME!!! the sequins,hundreds of hand sewn on Paul stanley's suit were incredible - ( i am going to be doing a page for rob and a tv segment on his work he also makes gothic costumes and a whole bunch of stuff his page will be CLICK HERERob oonce worked for WILD DOGS and claimed to have made ace's costume- being a severe skeptic when it comes to things like that i probably wrote him off.. but now..im beginning to wonder needless to say these guys looked like stunt doubles for phantom of the park anyday of the week and musically sounded like i remember kiss with nothing missing or lacking.. they'll give any kiss tribute a BIG run for their money and it only can get bigger and better from here..
