welly wall well my cousin its and friends and foes.... this time to shed the old snakey skabne skin and get on full blast with the hell bent for leather gear as PETEY and i joined.. BRITISH STEEL- which should be aptly nicknamed BRUTISH steel for it's fierce attack of the classic jawbreaking screaming for vengeance music that so inspired me.har dee har har....

Playing bass in this band is a freeing experience and the back up i get from my bandmates is unreal.. which propells me to acquire more connections through cold calls, and brave negotiation. we have struck up a deal with gtr center and will do at least an in store appearance and clinic at the portland and beaverton locations possibly a tie in with the movie rockstar.. i m all ears and excited- finally broke through the bariers and tore down the walls an found booking agents who use the term "put you on tour"

finally have some name brand equipment that makes me play beter and will show lance how much i apreciate it by a quick repayment and , lots of publicity and booking results..judas priest is a much easier name to sell than the old wild dogs..

and tyhe music is much better - or at least it ,eans siomething to me - if i was gona play in a tribute band it would have to be priest, ac/dc or hendrix for the right money and schedule i would do anything but kiss(tooo ambitious arole and i salute those who do it)

WELL as all things must pass so did the honmeymoon with judas preetsers british steel- we did play seattle Eugene, guitar center, portland more tan once and it was fun although at times annoying due to the incredible resistance to personal growth in the vocal area..oh you know me too well... i am a slave drivin whipcracker unless you are a player who likes to improve themselve without destroying your confidence in the process kind-A-guy-..

Debbi took me to disneyland this summer- i wanna go back now! well seeing a real beatles impersonator group called the FAB four led me to recognize that to truly master the market you must be a sort of wax museum with a pulse. and of course i cant fit in the joghgnny bravo outfits i always had to run off to the hardware store and MAKE something to wear cuz nuthin fit that was cool.

oops sorry daydreaming - and onthe last night as we were about to walk out-- ( just prior to the woman who looked the other way and lost her kid at the in a sea of humanity.)

i saw a funk band that caught my memory on fire..and decided i'd had enough of this metal stuff for a while and go get vomit stricken FUNKay brutha which i did immediately and dove into snoop doggy dog hardcore chronic,dogystyle and the greatest remixes- also jumped on madonna too . i can dance ...then --disgusted with trying to turn art into profit witrh music as its muse..i get word that the perfect job for me is open - and i have worked at PCC sylvania writing parking tickets all year all conditions thru rain hail snow wind and some sun so far... and LOVE IT! it beats the hell out of sitting here writing this for tyhe kids i'll never have...absolutely the most rewarding work i have done yet in my opinion and it helps the college out and i am kind of like a self appointed ambassador, info man, guide and watchful eyes for the friends at public safety.

During the winter xmas thing i hooked up with a nice guy named jason more an excellent guitar player who teaches at tigard music we did a company party played funk, dance and old rocker tunes..right after that my best lil buddy took a nose dive health wise and barnaby jones died on jan 14,, an emotional braincrusher for sure... then sharon fell out cold on the carpet 3 times a few days later - when the party is over everyone starts to leave eh? NOT ME I HAVENT FINISHED YET!I HAVE WORK IN ME THAT NEEDS TO GET OUT. after a brief wild dogs reunion with deen jeff and danny.. i say brief cuz so far its only happened 2 times and not much songwriting takes place BUT the Old standby songs never sounded better- we should re recrod em.. but 20 years down the line the same infrastructure is in -place but this time tempered by experience which makes what was easy to do when you were young , hard as calloused adults-excluding me of course- ill release anything - TWICE must be related to col parker and elvis. so... after days of no show pete calls me and is back from a holiday in vegas checking out the scene down there and lo and behold for once in my life the prospect of a MATHEW T MCCOURT band with an album titled- dr masterminds revenge or something to that effect sounds right- a 2 album on one disc thing.so thats next ..and i will be back when i get here.. thanx for reading.
